PEARL
The PEARL is one of the most advanced whitening devices available. Developed by Tecno-Gaz the PEARL operates on a wave length of between 480 and 520 nm. Featuring a special screen that absorbs ultraviolet and infrared light from the lamp, the PEARL prevents the heating of the pulp and mucous membranes, thereby nullifying or reducing any discomfort/sensitivity.
The light is controlled and directed by a special optical fibre screen to allow maximum performance of the equipment and reduction of treatment times.
The lamp has a full rotation system so that it can be positioned as desired.
The equipment has a rapid polymerisation function for use on the protective liquid dam and an electronic control that manages the treatment times, pauses and activation stages.
A large liquid crystal display allows the user to monitor all the functions of the equipment.
Designed to be space efficient, the PEARL is ideal for both small and large surgeries and has a solid, stable and balanced base with wheels.
Treatment Times
Treatment times are an important aspect of the whitening technique, but there are no set times, since the treatment depends on many factors such as:
- the original colour of the teeth (yellow, grey, etc)
- the desired result
- the desired number of sessions
- the sensitivity of the individual patient
- how the dental practice wishes to define this service
Nevertheless, PEARL allows considerable results to be obtained with a total treatment time of 20 minutes, divided into two stages of 10 minutes each.
